GARMENT CARE
Our garments are engineered to work hard in your workouts, but be simple to care for too. And besides, we know you’ve got better things to do than laundry! We’re also mindful of the impact that keeping your Activewear ‘fresh’ can have on the environment. So, our care instructions are as eco-friendly as possible.
But here are the basics:
-
Wash prior to wearing
-
Cold wash with same colours.
-
Air or line dry in the shade, do not tumble dry.
While the vibrancy of some bright colours and fluros may fade over time, keep your colours as bright as bright by pre-washing in cold water with a teaspoon of salt.
How to correctly put on our Signature Scrunch Items:
- Gather your leggings/ shorts, either sit down or standing carefully then step into each leg hole and gently pull up the fabric to your knee.
- Gently continue working the fabric up to your waist, do not pull from the waist band or scrunch seam, as this will pull on the seams.
- Once the fabric has been slowly worked up and onto your waist without pulling it from the scrunch seam, adjust the waist band so it comfortably sits on you at your desired position.
- Once your waist band is fit, grab the fabric sitting around your hips and glute area and slowly wriggle them in towards the scrunch seam, this will bring the seam in, creating more of that scrunch look.
- Once the scrunch seam has been worked in between the “cheeks” you can give them a squat check and you are ready to go!
Please do not pull the scrunch seam, pull from the fabric to get the seam where your desired look is.
PLEASE DO NOT SIT ON ROUGH SURFACES OR COME IN CONTACT WITH SHARP OBJECTS. This will un pull the threads from seamless leggings and shorts.
Returns Signature Scrunch Policy:
With all seamless fabrics they are made out of a four-way stitch configuration. This means that the fabric holds millions of stitches that interweave with each other compared to non-seamless fabrics which is not the case. When the stitches are over pulled it will appear sheer or may rip as the stitches become separated too far past the point at which they are supposed to, resulting in this issue. When putting on our seamless items we ask that you follow the steps listed above to ensure you do not unplug this stitching around all the seams.
As a company there is nothing we can do to stop this sheerness, or rips from happening as if we made the material thicker, it will then become restricting and not our beloved buttery, skin-like fabric. We ask that you take care when putting on all items and if issues occur once the item has been worn for a period of time - thats not to try them on, there will be no refunds accepted or replacements. We thank you for your continuous support for Kikiva Collection and we value each and everyone of our customers.
*Please note we do not accept scrunch items returned back that are damaged, ripped or that have been washed and worn.
